The Race
Virgil Crest is one of the Northeast's most respected ultras — now in our hands. We're carrying forward the tradition Ian started, which means the course will be different from years prior. Finger Lakes ridgelines. Relentless climbs. One of the most satisfying finish lines in the region.
We're still locking in final details, but you can count on two things: it'll be everything Virgil has to offer, and then some.

Swag
Virgil has a history of cool, locally sourced finishers giveaways — those will be in the mix. Expect something snazzy. Details posted as they're finalized.
Pacers & Poles
100 Mile entrants get pacers at or after 50 miles, or nightfall. Poles are fair game for everyone — in 2021, anyone past 50 miles found them a game-changer. One rule: poles must fit in a drop bag if you're leaving them at an aid station for transport.
Crew Info
We're working hard to make sure the stations are crew accessible. The Start/Finish is confirmed for crew access, and there will be at least one additional station throughout the course. Updates coming. All crew and pacer actions are the runner's responsibility — runners must make sure their crew knows the rules.
